the noob was added as an afterthought and maybe it shows idk. i think it gets across a feeling though. very somber.. very sad... a cruel world that isnt made for a noob like him. i found myself getting very frustrated drawing this. I felt very out of my element and like nothing i did would make it look "ok" but looking back at it, its not actually that bad LOL i was a bit overdramatic...

I think this one is cute!! I wanted to have some character interaction and i think backgrounds really encourage it. I think there is room to improve though... and thats what excites me!! I cant wait to be at a level where i look back at this and think its ugly!!

This was my first background of the year!! Im really proud of it to be honest!! I love the colors... I think i realized just how important it is to have sharp edges and just how helpful having a perspective ruler is.... I think the clouds in this turned out good as well!! I really struggle with them though T_T

I did this right after the previous background and oh my god i felt like a complete failure i HATED this one ToT. I think i struggle with foilage a lot... I could not get the bushes to look good nor could i get the grass to actually look like grass. I think this is mainly an issue with my brushes though... Its hard to get texture with them. And also i kinda got frustrated with this one half way through LOL.

i did not like this one at first but omg this is so good wtf... the clouds were SUCH a pain but i think they turned out alright??? I need to work on grass more though it looks... a bit shoddy.. Overall though i really like this one!!!!!!

I lowkey gave up with this one ngl ToT I edited the colors on my reference before starting to draw and tbh i think that tripped me up a bit. I think I shouldve edited the colors after I had finished my own drawing. Also I wanted to get a brick texture for the wall but i couldnt figure out how to do it :(
